Anyone who uploads illegal data via the computer network ( deceptive information, information related to terrorism and national security offenses under the penal code, or uploading obscenity) is subjected to imprisonment. Also, any service provider that stores such information to its servers and it consents, cooperates, or supports the import of illegal data onto the network is subject to imprisonment.

(c) Gambling Act

In Thailand, there is the primary law that governs gaming. Acts of betting or games listed as “Type A Gambling” or “Type B Gambling” are under the Gambling Act. Provision of gaming services and the gaming software are not listed as either Type A or Type B gambling, therefore, not subject to any license under the Gambling Act.
